When my dentist told me I needed a root canal, I was scared. Everybody has heard the horror stories and while I've gone through a lot of dental work, I'd never had one. Dr. Calhoun did such an amazing job that I can honestly say that my root canal was one of my more pleasant dental experiences. I'm so glad my dentist referred me to him. What to expect: Started off with an x-ray and then Dr. Calhoun came in to tell me about the procedure and numb my mouth. He's very personable and did an extremely thorough job with the numbing. I didn't feel a thing. The assistant then placed a rubber or plastic dam around the tooth that they'd be working on so that nothing would fall in my mouth. They also put something like a little triangle on the other side to keep my mouth open without my having to consciously keep it open. That helped me avoid the cramping I typically experience during any dental procedure. He worked very quickly and thoroughly to drill into my tooth, remove the nerves, and fill the nerve cavities. I had a root canal done by Dr. Calhoun and it was great dental experience. I really liked that he explained everything that he was doing step by step so I didn't have to wonder what's going. He constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable too. The waiting room was very quiet, caIm and clean. I highly recommend Dr. Calhoun to anyone in need of endodontic care.

Dr. Calhoun and his staff are absolutely amazing! I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was warm and welcoming, immediately putting me at ease. Dr. Calhoun was incredibly professional and took the time to explain every step of the procedure, which really helped alleviate my anxiety. The procedure itself was virtually painless, and Dr. Calhoun constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable. The aftercare instructions were clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend Dr. Calhoun to anyone in need of endodontic care. It’s rare to find such a combination of skill, professionalism, and genuine care for patients!

If you need a root canal, this is the best place to come!!! I have had multiple mouth surgeries throughout the years with a few of them being absolutely horrible, but my experience with Dr. Calhoun was the absolute BEST! I wish he could have done all of my surgeries and dentist work throughout the years! I think as humans we like to understand what is happening to us and not just sit in silence especially during procedures. Dr. Calhoun was wonderful in explaining the entire process very thoroughly and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. Not once did I feel like I was not in the know. If you are looking for a place to get a root canal, I can not recommend him enough!

Had a root canal done by Dr. Calhoun and it was the easiest and pain free dental experience ever. I had anxiety before going in but talking to Dr. Calhoun made me at ease. He was understanding of my concerns and anxiety. He is very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He explained everything that he was doing step by step. I didn’t feel anything during or after procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a root canal. Thank you Dr. Calhoun.
